
Biography
Bethany Elise Carey is an associate attorney in Becker, Kellogg & Berry, P.C.'s personal injury department. Prior to focusing on personal injury, Ms. Carey's emphasis was practicing domestic and criminal defense law within the state of Virginia.
Ms. Carey received her Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Colorado in 2011, with a minor in history, before receiving her Juris Doctor in 2016 from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in Washington D.C.
While in school, Ms. Carey practiced at the Columbus Community Legal Services, advocating for the elderly as a law student attorney. She also studied both International Human Rights Law and international business law abroad at the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome, Italy, and the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland.
In addition to her practice, Ms. Carey is a member of the Alexandria and Fairfax Bar Associations, as well as the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association.
