Biography
Elaine Singerman is an associate attorney in Becker, Kellogg & Berry, P.C.'s personal injury department. She joined Becker, Kellogg & Berry, P.C. with personal injury experience ranging from sexual assault cases to wrongful death to traumatic brain injury cases. She has also practiced criminal law as a public defender and private criminal defense attorney in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Ms. Singerman earned her Bachelor of Arts, with honors, in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations from the University of Chicago and went on to receive her law degree from the University of Virginia. She began to represent and advocate for individuals in court during law school as part of the Criminal Defense Clinic and as an intern at the Charlottesville/Albemarle Public Defender.
As a trial attorney, Ms. Singerman has appeared before judges from Clarke County to Arlington County to King George County, Virginia. She has also obtained sizeable settlements and judgments for clients injured through no fault of their own. Eliane has successfully litigated cases including auto accidents, pedestrian accidents, dog attacks and slip/trip and fall throughout all of Virginia. She takes pride in helping her clients obtain a favorable settlement or verdict at trial.
In addition to her practice, Ms. Singerman is a member of the Fairfax Bar Association, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and the National Crime Victim Bar Association.
